En la presente obra se estudia la regulaci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica del conocimiento tradicional desde una perspectiva multidisciplinaria de derecho internacional.<\/p>\n
Para abordar el tema se parte por describir qu\u00e9 son los Conocimientos Tradicionales, quienes son sus titulares, cu\u00e1les son sus caracter\u00edsticas y qu\u00e9 modelos de apropiaci\u00f3n y protecci\u00f3n tienen.\u00a0Se analiza la cobertura del conocimiento tradicional por los derechos de propiedad intelectual y como \u00e9sta a veces facilita\u00a0 la apropiaci\u00f3n indebida del mismo, lo que se conoce com\u00fanmente como biopirater\u00eda.<\/p>\n
